2023 Michigan Nursing Summit

The 2023 Michigan Nursing Summit will focus on belonging and becoming visible. Belonging is a fundamental human need. Ensuring people feel seen and heard strengthens our connections and empowers the people in our lives, including patients, clients, and students, to be their best selves. This year’s Summit includes topics of respectful engagement, listening well, the power of failure and learning from our mistakes, overcoming shame and speaking our truth, psychological safety, listening as a tool of de-escalation, the impact of affirming language, vulnerability and becoming our authentic selves – unapologetically!

Contact Hours: Attendees will earn 9 contact hours. One session (Ruth Rondon) meets the requirements for 1 contact hour human trafficking education.

Criteria for successful completion: Learners must attend all sessions and complete and submit an evaluation.
