The Michigan Center for Nursing’s Michigan Nursing Summit is an annual event that convenes nurses from all over the state of Michigan. This year’s Summit will equip nurses with a broader lens; to widen their view of current events in Michigan that are changing the landscape of healthcare now and into the future. Topics will include: chronic pain management, human trafficking, civility in nursing, board leadership, culture of health and primary care, complementary medicine, and relationship based care.

Nurses, Nursing Students, Community Partners, Educators, Clinicians, Researchers, and more!
Leadership skill development, including inter and intra professional collaboration needed for healthcare transformation.
Current healthcare trends and issues requiring nursing leadership for individual patients, systems, and vulnerable populations.
Opportunities for nursing leadership with patients, systems and community to create a culture of health.
This continuing nursing education activity was approved by the Midwest Multistate Division, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
Participants who attend and complete an evaluation form for the Thursday and Friday portions of the 2017 Michigan Nursing Summit are eligible for 8.25 contact hours. Participants must attend the entire Thursday and Friday event to be considered eligible for the 8.25 contact hours. Participants who attend the Wednesday preconference workshop and complete an evaluation form are eligible for 1.5 contact hours.
